Striker Daniel Opolot Isiagi has joined URA FC on one year a deal. Isaigi who was also linked to a move to Mbarara city, returns to the Uganda premier league after a year in Egypt.
The lanky striker last featured for Proline in the 2017-18 season before joining AL Nasr Sc in the Egyptian second division.
“URA fc is one of the biggest teams in Uganda so it’s a good feeling for ne to join them and hopefully I can help the team score goals and get positive results. I can’t wait to join my teammates and get started”, Isiagi asserted.
The 24-year striker has previously played for KCCA fc and the defunct SC Victoria university.
Elsewhere, Mbarara city signs Magandaazi on a one year deal from regional league club Synergy fc.
His signing comes seven days after the Mbarara club unveiled Ivorian defender Doulemane Bamba, in a one year contract.
Mbarara city will play against Busoga united in their next league game on Tuesday October.
