Lazio’s bid to secure a Champions League spot for next season will face the latest challenge ahead of their Saturday match at Stadio Olimpico against Juventus, who face a key battle in their bid for a Conference League Qualifiers spot for next season.

Lazio are in second place on 55 points, 16 points behind first-placed Napoli. Fifth-placed Roma, the first club outside of the Champions League places, are five points behind the Biancocelesti. Lazio won their last Serie A match 2-0 at U-Power Stadium against Monza, extending their unbeaten streak to six (W5 D1 L0).

Juventus earned a 1-0 victory over Hellas Verona at home in their last league match, their third straight win, putting them in seventh place on 44 points. The Bianconeri trail sixth-placed Atalanta by four points for a spot in the Conference League Qualifiers.

The previous Serie A fixture between the sides saw Juventus triumph 3-0 at Allianz Stadium in November. Moise Kean led the Bianconeri with goals in the 43rd and 54th minute. Arkadiusz Milik also was on the scoresheet.

Juventus have got the better of Lazio of late, unbeaten in their last six Serie A matches (W4 D2 L0). Lazio are looking for their first league win in games between the two sides since December 2019. The Bianconeri have outscored the Biancocelesti 13-5 during their unbeaten streak.

Mattia Zaccagni and Ciro Immobile have proved attacking threats for Lazio this season. The two players are the team’s joint top scorers with nine goals. Zaccagni has scored the crucial first goal of the match on six occasions, while Immobile has five such strikes.

Visitors Juventus have been thankful to Dusan Vlahovic, Adrien Rabiot, and Kean, who have netted eight, seven, and six times, respectively.

At Stadio Olimpico this season, Lazio have eight wins, three draws, and three losses in 14 Serie A contests. In league matches away from home this season, Juventus have seven wins, two draws, and four losses.

In their last six league matches, Lazio have won five and drawn one. Juventus, meanwhile, have won five and lost one in their last six.
