The Libyan football federation have appointed Faouzi Benzaiti as the new head coach for the Libya national team.
He has signed a-6 month renewable contract with his first game expected to be an AFCON 2021 qualifier against Tunisia on 15 November 2019.
Faouzi Benzaiti previously coached Libya between 2007 and 2009.
The former Tunisian footballer 69 was sacked by Tunisia last year after helping them to quality for this year’s AFCON tournament held in Egypt, since then he was out of work.
