LUDO FEDERATION: Those who don’t know Ludo should leave it, says president.

Uganda Ludo Federation have this Saturday 20th July held their 12th annual general meeting at JBK hotel Kampala.

The AGM which started at 10 am in the morning, attended by 67 delegates from all over the country.

Delegates had several issues to handle, these including the adoption of the new draft constitution of the federation, 2019,2020/2021 budget passing as well as presenting the annual activity report to the delegates among others.

The chairman of this assembly Mr. Kalule Husein who is the current president urged members to abaid by the rules and regulations of the game, those who doesn’t want should leave it and look for other sports where there no rules as they are money in the country.

Mr. Hussein who sounded serious requested National Council of Sports to consider Ludo as of the priority sports in the country second to football because it well known to every one and in every part of the country.

The new draft constitution of the federation by then was adopted and passed unanimously as all the delegates in attendance embraced be their new constitution.

A budget of 640 million UGX for three (3) financial years was also passed unanimously, in which they need 150 millions in the first year.

Uganda will participate in the forth coming ludo world cup qualifiers which is scheduled for April next year.

The assembly also passed and adopted Mr. Sserwada Steven as the patron Uganda Ludo Federation and Mr. Bisaso Charles as new chairman board of trustees replacing Mr. Abubaker Luyombya who is not in good health conditions.

Uganda is ranked number three in the world and first in Africa is going to host the Africa Ludo Federation meeting this year come November.

President Mr. Kalule expressed his unsatisfactory with NCS’s policies especially when it comes to monetary super , and urged them to first evaluate each of the 48 sports Federations affiliated such that every one gets what is supposed to get according to what they have done.

Nankya Annie the NCS secretary technical ” am very happy with the situation i have found here, the organisation of the highest order and the willingness of Ludo people towards the development of the game”.

She also said that they are committed in supporting Ludo as a sport in Uganda and urged them to continue looking for sponsors on any level of the game like football do.

Kalule Hussein will compete for a post of vice president International Ludo, Snacks and Leda Federation election.
