The Criminal Intelligence and Investigations Directorate(CIID) headquarters at Kibuli has summoned the suspended Fufa president Eng. Moses Hassim Magogo and Fufa CEO Mr. Edgar Watson Suubi to appear before its officers.

According to the sources, Mr. Magogo who was assumed earlier today Wednesday October 16th to be appearing before the CIID officers, will now appear to them on Tuesday next week at around 9:00 am.

Whereas Mr. Edgar is expected to appear tomorrow Thursday October 17 at 9:00 am to respond to queries related to the illegal resale of the 2019 World Cup tickets.

Magogo is wanted, together with the Fufa CEO, Edgar Watson Suubi – after Fifa, last week, sanctioned his two-month suspension in addition to a fine of CHF 10,000 (about Shs 37,000,000m.) Magogo’s ratified suspension followed a plea bargain, which both parties had agreed upon last month – a position that was first brought to the public domain the troubled federation boss, himself at the Adjumani Ordinary Assembly on September 28. Fifa in its October message to the public, claimed to have started investigations into the matter in July 2018 after Makindye West MP. Hon. Allan Ssewanyana had filed a petition, detailing how Magogo had other federation workers – including Edgar Watson as well as agent – Peninah Kabenge – the Makerere University Senior Sports Tutor had conspired to resale 177 World Cup tickets allotted to Uganda.

Mogogo is expected to report to CIID headquarters in Kibuli at exactly 10:00am to explain how the said anomalies came about in the corridors of the local soccer governing body.
