Masaka district administration has launched free connection of electricity in all Masaka Villages.
Two years ago the office of the chairperson requested all LC1 Chairpersons in Masaka District whose villages did not have electricity to apply for the same with a resolution signed by 60 members of the village council.
“I submitted the applications to Rural Electricity Agency”
A few days ago at the Masaka District Headquarters lunched the project and installation of electric poles in those villages has started.
The list of beneficiary villages is hereto attached. Next in line are all the villages in Kabonera subcounty. “Connection to houses will be free of charge as long as it is a Certified Wire Man that has wired the house to be connected”.
