Masaza 2022 finals: Busiro blessed by Archbishop, Ssemwogerere

Masaza cup finals 2022, Busiro team led by their team manager Hon. Paul Nsubuga visit Rubaga catholic church,to seek for blessing ahead of Saturday’s final against giant Buddu at Muteesa II stadium wakulukuku where they will be seeking for their meiden Masaza Cup trophy.

Archbishop, Paul Ssemwogerere blessed the team and also contributed undisclosed amount money in support Busiro’s preparation for the finals.

Archbishop, who was born in mpala Wakiso district, a strong Busiro supporter, appealed the players to go for one thing ,that’s win not lose.

Wakiso district LC5 chairman, mr. Matia Lwanga Bwanika, promised pay 100 USD for each goal to be scored(one hundred dollar).

Most the players were available for the blessing at the church, except, Kafumbe Masoud, Kizito Simon and Akhram Muzanyi who had engagements with their club myda and Mbale heroes respectively of whom are expected to join the camp later today,ahead of tomorrow’s do or die final against favourites Buddu.

Meanwhile; Police and other security operatives held a meeting at Wankukuluku Stadium to sum-up with all security related issue to enable the 2022 Masaza Cup final moving on well, thereafter the meeting , the security committee granted a go ahead.

And Friday morning the stadium was already set for the game according to the organising committee led by Haji. Suleiman Ssejjengo just urge people to go and have their tickets because the game must be played tomorrow.
