It was a massive turn up of players at the Mbarara Sports Club Squash Clinic is one of the many to be conducted by Uganda Squash Rackets Association officials as well with coach Kawooya Michael Raymond and top players countrywide.
The three days Mbarara Sports Club Squash Clinic aimed at reviving the game in Mbarara City and western region at large ended last weekend on Saturday July 13.
Uganda Squash Rackets Association outreach program to promote the sport in all corners of the country. Brilliant initiative to market the sport.
This is part of the National Council of Sport’s agenda for all Uganda Sports to be spread to all areas and the clinic was conducted by Uganda Rackets Association officials as well top players from Kampala Club Limited, led by president of USRA Mr. Tamwesigire John Bosco Ahimbisibwe, Kawooya Micheal Raymond, Kasirye Paul Kadoma, Ivan Wassaw and a lady official Shifah Nantambi.
According to coach Michael Kawooya, the clinic went well , large number of people turned up for the program and we hope ,we shall cover other parts of Uganda very soon.
JB Tamwesigire, the president of Uganda Squash Association, said that the people of Mbarara welcomed them very well and everything went on smoothly and appeal to Ugandans to come and support this beautiful game of Squash.
