After Bulemeezi’s survival game on Sunday at home in Kasana Luweero, when they beat Mawokota 2-1 to secure a quarter final slot last evening, this Sunday 25th August will have to travel to the on form Kyaggwe for the quarter final encounter.

Entered on the final day of group stages when five counties vieing for three remaining slots but the huge pressure was in  Butikkiro group where three counties  were competing for the two places.

Mawokota went into their last game against Bulemeezi when they topping group with 14 points but at the end of first half, the Saka Mpima’s coached side was in third place following a 3-0 lead for Bulemeezi at Kasana and Buddu’s goal lead away to Mawogola.

Bugerere and Ssese were battling for the second place in Masengere group, and at the end Ssese won the slot after beating Buvuma 3-0 and Bugerere fell in hands of defending champions Ssingo and they swallowed 4-0 at full-time.

The results Confirmed the final eight teams to battle at quarterfinals of 2019 Masaza Cup tourney.

Masengere group brought Defending Champions Ssingo and Ssese while Butikkiro has Bulemeezi who topped the group with 15 points and Buddu who came second with 15 points too but with less goal advantage.

Muganzirwazza and Bulange fronted Butambala, Kyaggwe, Busiro and Kyadondo respectively.

The Quarter finals first leg will be held on Saturday24th and Sunday 25th August, Buddu will be at home hosting Butambala whereas the on form Ssese will be at home in Lutoboka hosting Busiro and Kyadondo will play host to Ssingo at Mukono Bishops SS grounds, then return leg on Sunday 1st September 2019.

The final as usual will be at Mandela National stadium Namboole on 26th October 2019.

Buvuma 0-3 Ssese.
