MENGO, KISUGU SECURE SECOND VICTORIES AS ASKA CLIMBS TO TOP FOUR IN THE FUTSAL LEAGUE

Both Mengo City and Kisugu FC clinched their second victories of the betPawa Futsal Super League season on Friday evening during Matchday six.

Starting off with Mengo, young talents Farouk Tumwesigye and Hersi Mohammed each scored twice, contributing to a thrilling 6-3 victory over Aidenal.

Peter Kaye and William Sseguya added the remaining goals for Mengo, while Aidenal’s consolations came from Lameck Mwebaza, Fabiano Oyalo, and Swalleh Kaboyo.

Despite the win, Mengo holds the eighth position on the log with seven points from six games, while Aidenal remains second-bottom without any points.

Kisugu also secured their second victory by overcoming Kampala Junior Team with a 3-1 scoreline.

Although KJT initially took the lead through Reagan Kimbugwe, quick goals from Ali Mukiibi and a late one from Henry Komakech sealed Kisugu’s win.

Despite the victory, Kisugu maintains the seventh position on the log, with KJT two points above them.

Meanwhile, Nansana ASKA dominated their match, securing their fourth victory of the season by defeating Kawempe 7-0.

Carlos Kaddu and Ali Miti each scored twice, while Sinani Kiyaga, Owen Sseyonga, and Emmanuel Mawa added one goal each.

With this impressive win, ASKA moves into the top four with 12 points, while Kawempe remains at the bottom without a point.

The action will resume next week with six Matchday seven games at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena starting on Thursday, January 4th.
