Kitara FC can confirm the addition of midfielder Ivan Sserubiri.
The talented midfielder joins the club as a free agent following his departure from relegated Gaddafi FC.
Sserubiri has inked a one-year deal with the Royals, bringing his impressive skills and experience to the team.
He said upon signing, “I’m extremely excited that Kitara football club is my new home. I see the squad is, full of talented and ambitious players who I’m looking forward to working with and add to the club’s success. I also want to be a better player than I was in the past season, let’s see how things go.”
Known for his strength, physicality, and comfort with the ball, Sserubiri is a player who can make a difference in the heart of the midfield.
His exceptional dribbling and long ball passing abilities have caught the eye of Kitara’s technical team, led by Coach Brian Ssenyondo, making him a highly coveted addition to the squad.
Sserubiri’s journey started with Namasuba Juventus soccer Academy then Spartans FC and later joined Buganda Masaza Cup teams where he gained standout performances which paved the way for his professional career.
He made his top-tier move with URA in July 2019 and later had a stint with SC Villa before joining Gaddafi FC midway through last season.
Coach Ssenyondo will hope Sserubiri’s unique talents and potential can significantly impact the team’s performance in the upcoming season that also include the League and CAF Confederation Cup.
