Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC has confirmed the return of midfielder David Bagoole on a two-year contract.

Bagoole, who returns to the Kitende based side for the second stint was officially unveiled on Monday evening.

He joins from Big League side Jinja North United, a side he had joined six months back.

“The affable David ‘Tong Po’ Bagoole has finally completed his return to Vipers Sports Club, reads a statement”

Bagoole had joined Vipers back in August 2020 on a three-year deal before he left last year.

During his first stint at Vipers ,he won one Uganda premier League title and one Uganda Cup.

But his time at Kitende was limited due to playing time, injuries and personal reasons as a player.

And recently last year in September, one of Vipers shareholders Haruna Kyobe said that Bagoole was home sick, something the limited him at Kitende.

At Vipers, Bagoole becomes the second signing after the Brazilian striker Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez, who was unveiled on Friday last week.

Bagoole has previously played for La Passe in Seychelles, Police and Baza Holdings – the latter two in Uganda.

He has also in past featured for Busoga United in the Uganda Premier League, as well as OC Bukavu Dawa in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
