Federation of East Africa Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) Games 2024 preparatory meeting held on Thursday August 8 at Ministry of Education Sports offices Kampala.
The meeting was chaired by Rev. Can Dr. Duncans Mugumya Commissioner Physical Education and Sports.
It is aimed at resolving some technical issues and guidelines for the forthcoming championship as far as the government is concerned in many aspects, like, games organisation, security and migration issues among others.
He emphasized the importance of verification, tightening of security, enough accommodation for every participant during the games.
It was also attended by USSSA officials led by president Justus Mugisha, Uganda Primary Schools Sports Association officials led by president William Bwambale, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Uganda Police, UPDF, host schools officials, ASSHU officials among others.
FEASSA games 2024 is scheduled for 16th – 27th August 2024 in Bukedea District.
