Miod is becoming disastrous to opponents as nets 5 goals in two consecutive game

Nsambya FC 2-3 Katereke New Life.

Young Star Aksam Miod continued his form by scoring a Brace to take his tally to 7 goals from 4 games.

Last weekend the Thanawiyah Graduate scored a hat-trick to guide Katereke New Life to a 3-0 victory over Black Stars.

Today Brace brought  another 3-2 victory over highly challenging Nsambya FC in two weathered game  played at St Peters SS Nsambya on Sunday 26  November 2023.

Miod chipped in the opener with 15 minutes played before Shafick Kaweesi extending the lead through penalty following Hakim Matovu handball in stoppage time of the first stanza.

The Game went to the Break with the Junior Sheiks leading 2-0 but concede an early second half goal scored by Henry Scot Mutumba two minutes into second half.

Nsabya FC played the best way to seek a comeback but Katereke new life Goalie Goerge Opio was outstanding saving some good shots.

In the game which started at a fine weather seen the ugly scene following heavy down pours with some snow stones   in the most part of the second half.

With the weather getting  bad Katereke new life become as bad as the weather for Nsabya FC winning some good positioned freekicks and used one taken by Kaweesi to set up   Miod’s second goal to extend Katereke’s lead to 3-1 with 10 minutes to play.

 Seven minutes later after the rainfall Nsambya FC got awarded a penalty and converted by Isaac Ofoyrwoth  forcing Katereke new life getting on back foot to maintain the scoreline up to the final whistle blow.

The results means Katereke New life stayed second in there group on 13 points two  behind Catda who has played one more game than Katereke New life’s 5 games with a one in hand against Mutungo.

Katereke New Life will return to action against Waters FC on Wednesday 29th November at Nakivubo Blue Primary with 4PM kickoff time.
