The High Court in Entebbe has on October 28 found Godfrey Wamala Troy, a key suspect in the murder of local musician Moses Ssekibogo aka Mowzey Radio guilty of the crime.
Justice Jane Frances Abodo found Troy guilty of manslaughter and not murder of Mowzey saying there was no malice aforethought in killing the musician.
Justice Abodo noted that Troy also linked himself at the scene of crime when he admitted he was present at the time the incident happened but said he saw two men beating up Mowzey.
Prosecution led by Joseph Kyomuhendo adduced evidence from nine witnesses to testify that on January 22, 2018, at a famous hangout in Entebbe, Troy lifted up Mowzey Radio and banged him down causing him (Radio) to sustain a head injury which took his life on February 1, 2018.
