Muhangi, Ogwanga cash in millions towards the construction of Lukanga Boxing Gym as Lukanga held by Medi Mbidde

The exhibition fight between legendry Samuel Lukanga and Muhammad Mbidde ended in a draw fight yesterday at MTN Arena.

The exhibition fight which acted as a fundraising for the construction of Lukanga boxing club gym at Nsanji, Masaka road.

The fight was attended by important people from Buganda government and central government.

State minister for sports, Peter Ogwang, represented who his boss the minister for education and sports, First Lady Janet Museveni, read her message, saying that she pledged to contribute 10 million shilling towards the construction of Lukanga boxing Club gym.

NCS, also pledged to contribute 10 million shillings as Mr. Moses Muhangi, the UBF president, gave them 5 million cash and promised to give more 5 million.

Minister Peter Ogwang contributed 2 million shillings cash and promise to give more 5 million shillings.

The exhibition fight witnessed many knock outs on the day as coach Shugi knocked out coach Abdu, coach Medy knocked out coach Kasole Dan and Isma Afaba also knocked down Brian Mayanja, a former bombers.

The exhibition fight also witnessed bombers boxer Jonah Kyobe losing to Henry Kimuli.
