Mulago hospital has been queried for failure to meet set targets for the year ended 2018/19 financial year.

This was revealed in the auditor generals report under the year review above in which mulago was supposed to collect non tax revenue amounting to 13bn but only 3.9 bn was collected.

Defending him self before PAC chaired by Nathan Nandala Mafabi, The Mulago Executive Director Dr Byarugaba Baterena attributed the failure not to me the target to incompletion of lower mulago which wasn’t opened, Kirudu and Kawempe that were not also operational.

He said that the estimated target was to be achieved from collection of fees from patient admissions.
