MULUNGI PROMISE TO BRING MUBIRU’S CAREER TO AN END AS WEEK 10 OF BOXING CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SET FOR SATURDAY

  • At New Club Obligato Bombo road, Kampala (5PM till morning)

It is week 10 of the Uganda Boxing Champions League at the New Club Obligato in Kampala on Saturday, 9th September 2023.

The official weigh-in and medicals’ event will be held on Friday, 8 September 2022 at the same venue.

After the exciting week 9 of the Boxing Champions League where fans enjoyed boxing skills, punches and knock-outs, week 10 is set for this week on Saturday with 15 bouts on the card.

The main fight of the day will involve Bombers Kasim Mulungi of East Coast boxing club who was with Bombers team in Cameroon for African elite Boxing Championship will fighting against experienced Derrick Mubiru from Cobap boxing club.

Mulungi, who lastly won the former African Boxing championship bronze medalist, Jonathan Kyobe, when contacted by our reporter Juma Ali said, “it’s time to bring Mubiru’s career to an end because I have no time to waste.”

“Iam here to destroy anything on my way to the Championship, per now Mulungi is leading feather weight category.”Mulungi added.

Other fights of the day will include, promising Paul Raskara of KCCA taking on Innocent Amoko of UPDF in Light Welter weight, Abdullah Sekimwanyi of Lukanga vs Sadat Kilwana of Zebra in Light heavy, Noordin Kiseka of Lukanga vs Michael Komakech of East Coast in Super heavy, Trevor Mudenya vs Marvin Omondi, Jalia Nalia of Zebra vs Nadia Najjemba ‘Kyakkula sajja’ of Lukanga, Ashraf Mpanga vs Isaac Kasasa, Reagan Lubega vs Martin Mugabi, Anwar Kizira vs Ronald Kasumba, Brian Nkruziza vs Hakim Lubega, Nancy Kwiocwiny vs Esther Namirimu, Cyrus Atwine vs Ukasha Mukisa, Ashraf Galabuzi vs Benard Ochieng, Muzafaru Luzige vs Aziz Senyange, Twaibu Kayanja vs Ali Nsubuga.
