President Museveni who left the country earlier today has addressed the International Conference on population and development in Nairobi in Kenya.

Mr. Museveni while addressing the congregation he pledged Uganda’s full support and commitment to ensuring gender equality.

Museveni also requested members to take serious as well as Ugandan will also operationalize the national sexuality educational policy framework that the ministry of education launched in 2018 he added.

The summit started on Tuesday morning aiming see commitments from leaders that will help in addressing of the following problems; unmet need for family planning information and services, maternal deaths, sexual and gender-based violence and harmful practices against women and girls.
