President Museveni on Tuesday evening met former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi at his ranch in Kisozi, Gomba District.
A picture shared on social media showed the President seated next to Mbabazi, his longterm colleague whom he replaced as prime minister ahead of the 2016 elections. Mbabazi later contested against Museveni for president and lost.
It is not immediately clear what was discussed between the duo but earlier, this website reported that Mbabazi is about to make a return to the ruling party.
While sources expected him to return to Cabinet, this did not happen,
Several Ugandans on Tuesday evening took to social media to comment on the meeting.
