MUSEVENI MUST WIN GENERAL ELECTIONS 2021

Kampala taxi operators have launched a task force dubbed “joint taxi operators consortium” which aimed at campaigning for president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to retain his seat as the president of the republic of Uganda in the forthcoming general elections 2021.
The task force is country wide and is composed of 6 various taxi factions which include among others, Uganda transport development agency (UTRADA), Kampala operators taxi stages association (KOTSA), Independent and is headed by leaders of these factions such as Musitapher Mayambala, Katumba William, Kalifan Musajja Alumbwa Ssalongo, Rashid Ssekindi among others.
The task force was launched before minister for Kampala Betty Amongi, her deputy Bennie Namugwanya, Kampala RCC Faridah Mayanja Mpiima among others, whereby minister Betty Among urged taxi operators to always be united, focused and to avoid being utilised by politicians to serve their interests which tarnishes taxi industry.
” Am happy with this initiative you have formed as taxi industry to campaign for His excellency the president of the republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to also again win the forthcoming elections overwhelmingly, we are here to support you in all aspects, she added,”.
Chairperson of UTRADA, Musitapher Mayambala says they are also to campaign for the ruling NRM party flag bearers who won party primaries.
Katumba William chairperson Awakula-Ennume says they are to support president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni because he has also been supporting and moving with them especially in transport industry.
Meanwhile Rashid Ssekindi says Museveni is a leader of all who doesn’t discriminate in religions, culture, languages among others and this explains why he needs their support.
“we have resolved to support president Museveni due to his struggle to bring freedom, democracy and peace in the county, he added”.
State minister for Kampala Bennie Namugwanya, applauded taxi industry for this initiative saying President Museveni is with them that is why he has been always intervened in taxi industry matters affecting them at all levels.
“This task force will be facilitated in all aspects across the country to fulfill its mission”, She added.
