On day three of the Mutalaga cup started in silent and ends on high volume with both Lweza based sides facing off.
Lweza FC managed to walk off with maximum points winning 3-2 but Lweza Boys performance cought much attention.
In a match played on wet grass less Lweza play ground, Lweza Boys scored first through
Dalton Mumbeere to win the first half.
Few minutes from half time interval Uganda premier League Isa Mubiru equalised , few minutes later Davis Ssali to the lead for Lweza and not after long time Dickson Waswa extended the lead to 3-1.
With the game looks settled Lweza FC through Isa Mubiru got a fourth goal but it got cancelled for offside offence.
There after Lweza Boys was not ready to conceive the defeat putting on a hard fight resulting the Babies to pull a goal back through Bonny Akouch following a complete constructed play which was to high for Lweza side filled with big profiled players like Isa Lumu, Ibrahim Tembo and other Uganda Premier league breed.
The Mutalaga cup shall commence tomorrow with two games as Birongo FC playing against Cristal FC at 2:00 followed by Mayinja FC against Peninsula.
Both games shall take place at Lweza play ground on Thursday 11 July 2024.
