On Monday July 22, 2024 the Mutalaga Christmas cup resumed with two more games at Lweza playground.
In the early kick off which came at 2 pm Mutungo central defeated Lunya FC 1-0 with Albert Okumu netting the only goal.
The game got followed by another that started at exactly 4pm seeing Kibalaza FC getting curried by Nicholas Luzige’s goal to the victory over Horizon FC.
The tournament will take action for entire week following a break on Friday.
On Sunday July 21 Hoster FC won 2-0 over Paradise FC thanks to goals from Ali Busuulwa and Mathias Tamale.
On Saturday July 20 the tournament also had two games on card where Kiwoko young won 2-0 over Kataasa FC with Mario Masud and Junior Kabugo netting the goals.
In other game Friends of Football(FoF) got beaten 2-0 by Football for life courtesy of Billy Kateebe and John Bebi’s goals.
The Frank Mutalaga all funded football competition will return tomorrow, Tuesday July 23 with a game between Dallas FC and Giant FC that will commence at exactly 4pm at Lweza playground.
