Margret Kunuhira and Nalukenge Juliet nets two goals for Uganda to ensure a 3-1 win over Ethiopia on Sunday.
Margret Kunuhira’s goal and Nalukenge Juliet’s brace away in eliminated Ethiopia at Bahir stadium in Ethiopia to secure a 5-1 on aggregate victory for Uganda over two legs to qualify for the second round of the qualification round of FIFA Women’s U17 World Cup India 2020 .
Margret Kunuhira unlocked the home side defence with a 55th minute strike to offload the visitors technical beach pressure.
Then eight minutes later the home side in the 63rd minute equalised but with less than 60 seconds Juliet Nalukenge brought back Uganda’s lead before she sealed it in the 75th minute.
Uganda propelled to second round of the qualifier with 5-1 on aggregate and will now face Tanzania in the next round of the qualifiers.
