Vipers SC have named Simon Peter Njuba as their new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Njuba replaces Peter Lwanga who was axed three months ago.
This is the second time Njuba will be working in this capacity at the Kitende based side having served as CEO back in 2016.
He is understood to have signed a two year contract that will run until 2022.
Njuba has been acting as the club’s CEO in the last few months following the departure of Lwanga.
Having studied at St Mary’s Kitende during his High school days, Njuba is also an IT (Information Technology) teacher at the school.
He is the fourth new CEO at a Uganda Premier League club this off season after Express FC appointed Isaac Mwesigwa, Police FC named Fahad Lumu while Busoga United also handed Andrew Ndyabahika the same role.
Njuba is tasked with continuing Vipers SC past season’s success in the league and also ensuring the club succeeds in their continental venture as they take part in the 2020/21 CAF Champions League.
