‘NO WEAK TEAM IN MASAZA CUP’ –MAWOKOTA HEAD COACH STEVEN BOGERE SAID

After this year’s Masaza groups were revealed at Bulange, Mengo, where Mawokota was pitted in Masengere group along with Buvuma, Kabula, Busujju, Ssese and Busiro, their head coach Steven Bogere pointed out that there is no any weak team in this championship and any team can progress to the next stage depending on how you handle your games as well as tactics matters.

Bogere, a former Buddu coach who helped them to win their only two titles went on to say that their plan to win this year’s Masaza cup will depend on every game played.

Meanwhile defending champions, Bulemeezi is likely to take on Buddu in the tournament oppener scheduled for Saturday 22nd this month at Kasana Luweero playing ground

As few days remaining to the kick-off of this year’s tournament Bulemeezi who have already confirmed to take part in the opener are yet to know their opponents who will be announced later by the organising committee headed by Mr. Suleiman Ssejjengo.

Bulemeezi is in Bulange group alongside Buddu, Kyandondo, Bululi, Butambala and Bugerere.

Bulemezi, defeated record champions, Gomba 1:0 in the final held at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku to become victors of 2023 championship.
