Not yet under pressure, Mutebi claims ahead of Onduparaka game.

The Uganda premier league reigning champions, KCCA so far have gone five consecutive games without a win and sit 13th position on a 16 team table log, just two points above relegation zone.

Tactician claim, his side is not under any pressure.

KCCA FC will be hosting third placed side, Onduparaka FC on Friday at Lugogo in match day nine encounter.

In the pre- match press conference held at Star Times stadium Lugogo on Thursday the Kasasiro boys gaffer, Mike Mutebi insisted that his boys are not under pressure despite the tough situation they are going through.

“We have had a disappointing results of recent but we shall overcome “,Mutebi noted.

“There was misfortune that we have had but I can assure you that no one of players or us the coaches is under pressure at all”, Mike said.

He also revealed that they need to correct the situation in the shortest period possible to get results especially against Onduparaka on Friday.

“We have to correct the situation and we are nit putting the players on pressure, but they have a responsibility to respond and try to pick good result tomorrow”.

To the fans, Mutebi promises to recover in time to avoid what happened to fellow VEK teams in the past two seasons.

“We want to assure our fans that we shall come back where we supposed to be”.

Tomorrow’s game will be the KCCA’s sixth of the season but the eighth between the two sides.

The 13-time league champions have an upper hand in tie.

Their previous seven in all competitions saw the KCCA boys winning four times, losing twice and drew once.

KCCA are winless in five games in all competitions, one of the bad start for the Kasasiro boys in the recent past, they are five points less than their opponents Onduparaka FC who have collected 15 in seven games.

Onduparaka have been a bad record at Lugogo, having failed to secure a win since their promotion to topflight in 2016.
