With just hours to the ruling NRM party primaries to be held tomorrow Friday, misunderstandings are expeditiously increasing within the party which has put the party at stake.
Earlier today morning there was a one party member Ochaya Charles contesting on the position of member of parliament Chwa west constituency Kitigum district who was harassed at the party electoral commission headquarter at Kyadondo Kampala due to the failure of the party to prevail justice as he says.
Ochaya noted that his opponent also the NRM’s Bisimico Tim Joyce has no A level certificate which is illegal to be party of the race and his candidature should be canceled out immediately .
“I came to know that Bisimico Tim Joyce has no A level certificate, I went to UNEB and I got the evidence by UNEB executive secretary, therefore Bosimico Tim Joyce should be kicked out of the race, he said”.
He adds that following receiving the evidence, he petitioned to party electoral commission boss Dr Tanga Odoi seeking for justice which he has failed to get.
“Dr Tanga Odoi is a doctorate in academics but he is dumping our party due to bribery, corruption which is spoiling its image and democracy, he added”.
Dr Tanga Odoi, in his response to this scenario, he accused Ochaya Charles over misbehaving at party EC headquarters saying whoever seeks for justice, should not use violence method as Ochaya used.
“I urge each and every body within the party who have any complaint to use lawful and legal methods to get justice instead being defiant, Tanga said”.
Meanwhile NRM’s Al Haj Abdul Nadduli who was found at party EC headquarter with his son Sulaiman Nadduli who is vying for Nakaseke central member of parliament with Hajjat Saidah Bumba(both NRM members), said democracy, free and fair elections should be practiced to avoid inconveniences prior, during and after primaries.
“I came to know that injustice is being circulated in the party, but this is one of the reasons why we went in the bush, he added”.
