The NRM National Mobiliser RoseMary Nansubuga Ssenninde has revealed that the party has embarked on popularisation of President Museveni’s achievements around the country as away of opening people’s eyes towards the party.
RoseMary Ssenninde notes that, this is the right time for them to wake up Ugandans to escape the hands of the people who politically confuse and mislead them. They are doing this to see people appreciate the Party achievements.
She adds that, the popularisation program is already running around the country as the party targets to reveal to Ugandans where the country has come from, where it is and where it is going to give them hope for more and more positive achievements, through finding out the challenges they are going through and find solutions, thereby seeking for their vote.
However, Ssenninde expressed dissatisfaction over leaders that people entrust with their votes but rather concentrate on politicising issues other than serving the people who voted for them in such positions.
While speaking to the congregation during the women’s day celebrations at Entebbe in Wakiso district, women appealed to Ssenninde to stand again on the post of the Wakiso district Woman MP but she bypassed the appeal and did not give a clear response.
During the same function in Entebbe, the NRM National Treasurer Barbra Owundo Nekesa called upon people to appreciate the achievements of the NRM party as it has more plans for Ugandans.
During an interview with MS News Uganda, RoseMary Ssenninde expressed that it is the love that she had for the people of Wakiso, availing herself every time they needed her, she was accessible at any time and her being close to them may be some of the reasons as to why they want her to return to that sit.
