NRM MPs stopped from moving private members bills-Obua

The NRM MPs have been stopped from moving private members bills before consulting the NRM caucus leadership and government attorney general.

This has been revealed by the NRM government chiefwhip Hanson Obua while addressing journalist saying this was among the 24 resolution agreed upon by the NRM caucus at Ngoma state lodge nakaseke district.

Obua says this was done to avoid internal set backs and clashes amongst members and also to build concesors.

Obua further stated that the caucus also resolved to amend the NRM parliamentary rules to allow parliamentary commissioners be voted by the NRM caucus as opposed to the NEC appointment.

He says this is to give chance MPs to choose commissioners whom they need to lead them.

Among the other resolutions include support by caucus in value addition to coffee and sugar, monitor PDM and others.
