NRM Secretary General Todwong welcomes Chinese Envoy

The Secretary-General of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong has today, Thursday, welcomed the Chinese Minister Counselor to Uganda, H.E. Fan Xuechang, at the party headquarters in Nakasero, Kampala.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed fostering bilateral relations in the field of technological development and how the NRM and the Communist Party of China (CPC) can work together.

Todwong emphasized that Uganda and China share a common history of fighting for the social welfare of their people. He expressed the NRM’s commitment to partnering with the Chinese CPC to strengthen mutual benefits.

In response, H.E. Xuechang extended an invitation to NRM officials for a working study tour on poverty alleviation and enhancing party ideology.
