NSSF KAVC international volleyball championship 2019 opened on Friday evening at Lugogo, teams displayed a high qualit performance on day one.

The 23rd edition KAVC international volleyball championship, the first day games held at two venues, Lugogo Hockey grounds and indoor stadium on Friday 2nd August 2019.
“We are well prepared, well trained and we deserve to take title, even we won all our games on the first day,  that means we are ready for the title”, that is Sharon tipping her Nkumba University to lift this title.

The KAVC international volleyball championship is organised by KAVC   to  promote  talents and  create awareness of the game to Ugandans.
Uganda is still the giant in  the NSSF KAVC international volleyball championship, as they have managed to defend the championship for 15 times in total , as Men defended seven of them, whereas ladies managed eight.

The NSSF KAVC international volleyball championship 2019 , participating teams drawn in four different pools, that is Pool A, B, C and D.

Its a three days tournament,runs from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th August 2019. The finals are scheduled to kick off at exactly   3:00pm and there after will be awading ceremony.

Clubs from six countries have confirmed participation, the six nations include : Uganda the host, Kenya, Burundi, Tanzania, Ethiopia and South Sudan.

Ndejje university are the defending champions women and KAVC Men won in 2018.

This year  Mattirix, Nkumba, Kenya prison, Hur River Flyers, Uganda police, KCCA, VVC, Western, Gacisnes, Kagera Region, Rukinzo, Rainbow, Amicalo among others will will battle for the trophies prize money.
