The Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee Central has directed the management of Uganda Management Institute to surrender all unaccounted for documents for the financial year ended 2022/23 to the parliamentary police CID.

Among the unanswered queries as per the auditor generals report include unknown number of students, under declaration of Non-tax Revenue-NTR, under utilisation of government warrants worth 39bn, untimely procurements and other operational costs.

The resolution has been communicated by the chairperson PAC-C Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi accompanied by other committee members to UMI after realizing that the bursar of UMI James Luzige wasn’t in position to answer the queries.

Hon. Kivumbi therefore directed the management of UMI to deliver all the required accountability reports by tomorrow, Wednesday May 8th, 2024 to the parliamentary CID without fail.
