Police FC storm Uganda Cup final after defeating Adjumani Town Council FC in the semifinal

Police FC stormed the Stanbic Uganda Cup final on Friday, May 26 after ejecting Adjumani Town Council FC in the semifinal stage.

The two sides drew 2-2 on aggregate over two legs but Police prevailed on away goals rule following 2-1 defeat in the return leg game played Friday in Adjumani.

Police won the first leg 1-0 at Kavumba Recreational ground two weeks ago.

The cops now waiting for the winner between Vipers and Bright Stars in the other semifinal tie.

Vipers are almost certain of reaching the final following their 4-0 thrashing of Bright Star in the first leg match last week.

The return leg game is slated for May 30 at Kavumba Recreational ground.
