Police and the army have started investigation about the death of Corporal Madri Henry who was allegedly murdered at Kasenyi Island at Bendegere village in Nkuba Katabi town council. He was working in the SFC Kasenyi barracks
It is alleged that Corporal Henry had just returned from Somalia and had gone to the Island to enjoy life and put off the stress after a long time of his busy work.
He was last seen on Sunday 1st October 2023, but he never returned to his residence.
The village Vice chairman Robert Mulondo noted that the police dog helped the group which was searching for the Corporal as it stopped at one locked room.
He added that as the police continued with the search around the room, blood stains were seen at the padlock and around the room, which attracted them to break into the room where they found him died.
Police has therefore started investigating if Corporal Henry was murdered from somewhere and his body was brought to that room or he was murdered within the room by a sex worker.
