POOL CHAIRMAN BOB TRUBBISH UNVEILS HIS FOUR YEARS STRATEGIC PLAN

At the press conference organised today this morning at Nob view Ntinda, the Pool Association chairman Bob Trubish unveiled his four years strategic plans.

Trubbish, who was confirmed on 27, January, 2024 as the Pool Association chairman for another term of four years said that, their main focus will be on looking for sponsorships who will pocket in money for major events like the National League and National team preparations.

Another focus will be on managing talents among pool players because he realised that Pool players have talents but they are challenges of how to develop them.

Constitutional review according to the new sports bill is another area targeted by the chairman for his four years.

Engaging stake holders by organising different sessions to teach them the management of Pool and the benefit of playing Pool.

Infrastructures by acquiring land where they will construct their permanent offices.

Building the brand and this will happen after having a good relationship between the Pool management and the press.

Introducing Insurance policy mostly especially the medical part of it which will help the players who will be injured.

Introducing the game to universities and secondary schools .

The press conference was attended by Bob Trubish, the Pool chairman and James Mwere, vice- chairman Pool Association.

According to Mwere, vice-chairman, said that they are committed to do all the plans they wish in their four years while Trubish, chairman thanked the government through NCS for their support towards the development of the game.

The chairman, went on to say that on 8, March [women’s day], they will organise the event only for women in order to celebrate the International women’s day.
