Sports Club Villa has a chance to end their 19-year wait for a Uganda Premier League title if they go ahead and beat URA FC on Saturday at the Muteesa II stadium in Wankulukuku.

The Jogoos are in a prime position after taking control on Tuesday when they beat Blacks Power 1-0 as their rivals Vipers and KCCA struggled in Njeru and Jinja against BUL and Busoga United.

However, The Tax Collectors have proved a tough nut to crack for Villa in the recent past and in general.

Villa has managed to win only four of their 25 meetings with URA, losing nine and sharing spoils in 12.

The Jogoos last beat URA on May 19th 2017, through Umar Kasumba’s lone strike at the Masaka Recreational Ground.

Since then, URA has won four and drawn five of the nine fixtures between the two giants.

Winning bonus for each SC Villa player against URA FC is Sh500,000 – Each goal to be scored will be paid Sh250,000
