President Museveni received the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, H.E Felix Tshisekedi, on Wednesday October 30 afternoon at State House Entebbe.
Welcomed at the airport by the Ugandan Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs, Jacob Oboth-Oboth, President Tshisekedi went to State House Entebbe where he was received by his host.
The two heads of state immediately began a one-on-one meeting focused on security in Eastern DRC.
Museveni and his guest Tshisekedi discussed, among other issues, Security between Uganda and DRC, Regional Security, and infrastructural developments, including key roads of mutual economic benefit. We are all in agreement that what Congo needs is what Uganda needs. Hence, we have discussed everything here, and I thank H.E Tshisekedi for responding positively to my invitation for this meeting.
