Uganda Premier League side Proline FC have appointed Baker Mbowa as their interim manager.

Mbowa replaces Matia Lule who was confirmed as departed on Tuesday evening.

Matia Lule is not going to be with us for the remainder of the season,” said Proline FC Director Mujib Kasule on Tuesday evening.

Lule was named Proline tactician after the departure of Shafik Bisaso in August and guided them through the CAF Confederation Cup adventure which ended in the playoff round.

Mbowa who has previously coached Masaka LC is understood to have been handed the role until the end of the first round.

At the time of Lule’s departure, Proline are bottom on the log with eight points garnered in 12 games this season.
