Muslim Students Association of Uganda (MSAU) is set for 2023 run scheduled for 18th November 2023.
The RUN is is scheduled to take place at different venues with Makerere University available as Main Venue.
The 2023 RUN is under a theme, “Rising funds for supporting Muslim student’s activities” the event shall also take place at Kibibi playground Butambala district, Shuhada secondary School in Mbarara, Ndorwe play ground in Kabale, IUIU main Campus in Mbale City, Gulu University in Gulu City and Muni University in Arua City.
This run is one of the many activities organised to raise funds to support Muslim students studying in none Islamic Schools and tertiary Institutions of learning during the Holy month of Ramadhan, as Musa Mubiru the president of Muslim students association of Uganda explains.
“We want to support Muslim Students through this coming Holy Ramadan especially those in Christian and government based schools and tertiary institutions. “Said Musa Mubiru.
To participate in the coming RUN, a kit shall stand as a ticket, with full kit going for 40,000/= while a T-shirt is on Market at 25,000/=.
