Rapid growing Ntungasaazi FC beats Proline fc to secure maiden qualification to Betpawa FUFA Big League

Ntungasaazi Football club Defeated Proline FC 2-0 in the return leg as they reach FUFA Big league for the first time in history.

The Mityana Based Imanayera football franchise lost the first leg 2-1 to Proline FC at home.

Coming behind experienced side Proline FC looked an easy walk for the Kampala Region side but Ntungasaazi managed to upset odds utilizing on Mike Kimera and Calvin Peter Emayo goals.

The goals came in either halve guiding Ntungasaazi to Maintain Buganda Regions dominance over Kampala Region.

In the annual FUFA Big league playoff Buganda champions always facing Kampala Region champion in a double legged faceoff.

Ever since the set up came in existence it has guided Kiboga Young, Lugazi FC, Kiyinda Boys and Ntungasaazi from Buganda to Big League while Katwe United is the only Kampala region to win the contest by defeating Kajjansi United five years back.

Following the playoff win Ntungasaazi FC head coach Simon Dungu ‘Dunga’ highlighted on factors that guided his side to Betpawa FUFA Big league
“I came in when the team was heading to second round, I found different clicks and managed to end them,
From there we worked as a team, we have been doing our respective roles, the players, fans administrators and our director have been doing the best job in behind scenes”

Meanwhile the club president Latif Yosam Kwizera with immediate effect turned club focus to Uganda premier League target.
“Our team is one of project owned by Imanayera Company, I am the director in that company
Therefore I am the club President, When we were in fourth division they told us that Buganda Region league is hard and we have seen that it is possible.

Now they are telling us that big league is not easy, We are not scared of the level we reached we are going to maintain our squad we have and add more, Now super league is the new mission and we shall not fail”
Ntungasaazi played on full season in the Buganda Regional league
