Ratibu’s Opponent expected to jet in early next week for ABU title fight

The long awaited African Boxing Union [ABU]title fight between Ratibu Muwonge and Albano Clement is for next week on Friday 10 March 2023 at club obligato in Kampala.

This will be the professional boxer Latibu Muwonge third red corner against a Tanzanian opponent in three months.

This will be a 10 rounds fight, according to one of the fight organiser Robert Waswa, said that Ratibu’s opponent will jet in next week for the fight and we expect him to stay at African Hotel, though it’s not yet confirmed.

Ratibu, has so far fought 7 fights and have won all of them.

“Am ready for the ABU belt, come 10th March at club obligato, i promise to stage a good performance, am calling upon all Ugandans to come and support me” Ratibu, said.

Victory will put Muwonge among the elite class of Badru ‘Mr Crush’ Lusambya, Michael Kizza, Abdu Tebazaalwa, and Joseph ‘Joey Vegas’ Lubega, who have won the coveted ABU title.
