The Bishop of Namirembe Diocese The Rt. Reverend Moses Banja urged people to always rejoice in the Lord in the Gender that He created them to bring out His goodness.

He made this appeal as he was preaching to the congregation that gathered at Nsangi Secondary School in Nsangi to join in the thanksgiving ceremony for the good performance of S.4 and S.6 candidates for 2023, for the milestones the school has reached, and for the far the Lord has brought them, for opening of New S.2 classroom block and fundraising for the construction of the school Chapel which requires 650 million.

Bishop Banja encouraged people never to regret the gender that the Lord created them in as people tend to change their gender and he appreciated the school headteacher for the good performance from the candidates and for the initiative to construct the school chapel. He appealed to people to continue contributing towards the construction work.

In the same way, Bishop Banja challenged students who are still in school to carefully make use of the time that the Lord has given them in school for their own good and for the good of their parents so that they don’t regret when their time in school is wasted.

However, Bishop Banja cautioned students to make good use and benefit from the technology and the internet they use to help them during their studies but not to waste time on useless information.

The school headteacher Emmanuel Nalumenya noted that he uses the teachers and students appreciation system to motivate them to work hard in a competitive manner which improves the schools performance thereby producing good quality students.

The Lwengo CAO Nathan Lujumwa called upon people and all well wishers to work together with the school to see that the construction of the school chapel is successfully completed.

He pledged on behalf of the school to work hard to see that their dream of completing the chapel comes true.

During the function, the headteacher rewarded the best performing candidates from 2023 and teachers in their respective subjects for 2023.

Visitors toured the Exhibition with presentations that were made by the students and they appreciated the creativity that was exhibited. Exhibition stalls included garden watering using modern technology, graphics, Art Gallery, herbal medicine, ICT Nsangi voting system which was developed by an old student Victor Walimpa, the smart house, Robot crane, among others.

This function was attended by parents, students, members of the PTA, headteachers from different schools who pledged to support the chapel construction, Commissioner of education in Wakiso district, the Archdeacon of Nateete Ven.Can Godfrey BK Buwembo, Can. Augustine Magala Musiwuufu, Rev David Kisakye Ntale Ssalongo, Maama Geraldine Kawuma, Rev Agnes Ssemwanga among others.
