Salim Musoke maintained his seat as the Uganda Weightlifting Association president, In their elective general assembly held on Saturday at UOC boardroom, Salim Musoke who governed this sport for a collection of over 30 years, he came unopposed plus his other members.
Sam Lubinga, retained the general secretary position, Willy Jagwe elected the vice president administration, Rashid Lubega came unopposed as 2nd vice president Technical, Henry Musubire elected the treasurer for the next four years.
Isa Kanda also returned unopposed as Publicity Secretary and Steven Tamale Ssali as the Organizing Secretary.
UOC Secretary General, Madam Ayikoru Beatrice was the returning officer.
