Sam Lukanga, commonly known as jajja Lukanga, the owner of Lukanga boxing club, the most successful boxing club in Uganda, is to celebrate 30 years in the game of boxing.Lukanga, one of the boxing lovers in the country, set to celebrate his 30 years in boxing on one.
In May this year at MTN Arena Lugogo the celebrations will begin with an exhibition fight against KBC and Kampala high boxing club administrator, Muhammad Mbidde, who was a boxer during 80’s in a three round.
Also local coaches like Lawrence Kalyango, aka Lora, Shugi and others will feature in the undercards before the main fight between Lukanga and Mbidde.
Entrance fee have not decided but wellwishers have started buying tickets, the likes of Martin Mubiru, a former bombers, have ordered for 20 tickets in advance.
“Not war but we are ready to show up the youth with boxing skills on that day’ Mbidde, states.
