Sharing youth junior championship climaxes after 3 days action packed

It has been a busy three days as Sharing youth Center organised event Sharing youth junior championship started on Monday 20 to Wednesday 22 May at Sharing Hall Nsambya.

Malha Musa of Mbogo High Worriors named the overall best player following her resisting fight throughout the championship which guided her to the bronze medal in girls u16 singles
Reaching the milestone Malha stated “winning the MVP its a pleasure for me, I have been playing all my best not giving up at any point always”

Kakungulu Memorial’s Eric Ofoyuru was the Boys best winning two gold medals in mens under 19 singles and Doubles.
“Winning this championship has not been easy, it has been a very cooperative championship for me, in the final playing against my good we play in same club, same school and we are training together but the only one can be champion”

The three day program have had 8 category divided into four age groups accomodating both Genders.

Over 150 participants have took part in the inaugural championship

Speaking Uganda Badminton Association Chairperson Annet Nakamya said “This is to bring back the game to Sharing we all know that badminton in Uganda is holding allot of history with Sharing and we will be organising it per holiday but on addition to the championship we will add other training programs”
While speaking on the display witnessed at the championship
“We organised this event to targeting grow more talents and we have excelled the championship was high and healthy, we have had a very good number of entrants and they have posted a very eye catching competitions”
