
In another brilliant show, Uganda’s national netball team, the She Cranes beat Wales 59-48 to clinch the Test Series at the House of Sports in Cardiff on Saturday.
The victory put the She Cranes at an aggregate of 2-1 in the Series after their 64-40 win on Friday.
Wales had earlier on Wednesday taken the lead in the Series as they won 57-45.
In the Saturday showdown, the She Cranes started brightly and opened a five goal difference headed into the second quarter with a 17-12 lead.
However, Fred Mugerwa’s charges slowed in the second round, losing it 9-13, to carry just a one point lead (26-25) into the third quarter.
Into the third quarter, the She Cranes re-found their mojo winning it 18-13 and making it 44-38 headed into the final quarter.
The She Cranes killed it the final quarter which they won 15-10, to win the tie with a difference of 11 goals.

The She Cranes will now embark on the much more challenging Vitality Netball Nations Cup in England.
The nations cup will have heavyweights England, New Zealand and Australia.
