Uganda’s professional boxer Sulaiman Ssegawa based in American,on Saturday became another Ugandan proffessional boxer to win an International belt.
Ssegawa, a southpaw knocked out Mexican-born American Misael Lopez Gonzales in the 10 round in the feather weight category.

Ssegawa, who fights under Silver Springs Maryland in America, won World Boxing Council [WBC] title after knocking down Lopez, in the 10 round.
This is the first International belt to Uganda’s Sulaiman Ssegawa who promised Ugandans more belts to come.

Ssegawa,a former Olympian,a national boxing open gold medalist,now enters into the pot of kings like John ‘Beast’ Mugabi,Ayub Kalule,Kassim Ouma and others.
Ssegawa, a former KBC boxer is a talented boxer and aim to win more titles this year and next year.

He was born at Mulago hospital and grew up in kisenyi in Kampala Central, he started the game of boxing at 7 years and went through the hands of coach Emmanuel Mwesigwa, Makyo Kiwanuka, Muhammad Mbidde and Muhammad Mulandi
