Kyaggwe and Bulemezi shared spoils, Buddu won as defending champions Ssingo suffered defeat at the hands of Kyaddondo in their first leg quarter finals of Masazs tournament.

Defending champions Ssingo lost 2-1 to Kyaddondo at Champions stadium Mwererwe and they had to finish the game with one man less after goalkeeper Arafat Otim was red carded in the 65th minute.

Two quick goals from Patrick Bayiga and Emmanuel Mwesigwa ensured Kyaddondo moved away with maximum points with Ponsiano Ssegonja pulling one back for Bulemezi.

Defender Sula Mpanga was employed in the sticks as Bulemezi had no choice since they had already completed all the subsitutes.

Kyaggwe shared spoils with Bulemezi in a one-all stalemate at Mukono Bishops Grounds.

Both goals scored in the second half with Gabriel Eragu putting Bulemezi in the lead before Umar Kayemba levelling with a conversion from the spot after Yusuf Makutumu had held the ball in the forbidden area.

Owen Kasule, Marvin Kavuma and Raymond Walugembe were on target as Buddu overcomes Butambala 3-1 at Masaka Recreational grounds with Bruce Kabibala pulling one back for Butambala.
