The Bishop of mukono diocese the Rt. Rev Enos Kitto Kagodo has arged christians to stick unto the lord throughout the challenges they go through so that they dont backslide, but keep focusing on the Lord.

He noted this as he led the service celebrating Good Samaritan day at St. Thomas church of Uganda in Mpumu parish, Mpumu Archdeaconry in mukono diocese and confirming 66 children in the same service. The Bishop has appealed to the children who have been confirmed to look unto the Lord in whatever they do, now that they have been confirmed.

Mpumu parish priest  Rev Ronald Ntabaazi has reported to the Bishop the challenges the parish faces such as lack of permanent homes of the priests serving within the parish finding it hard to rent for them and also revealed that there are churches that are not yet well constructed. However, he noted the success the church has so far achieved such as reining the church land that was occupied by encroachers.

Bishop’s wife Catherine Kitto has cautioned parents to be very careful with there children during these holidays through keeping them busy so that they don’t loiter around the villages. This will help them keep safe and get prepared for starting school when the term begins.

This service was attended by the mukono Diocesean Secretary Rev Canon John Sebudde,  and wife, Mpumu Archdeacon Kiwanuka Mulinde and wife, CMF president in the diocese Herbert Senfuma, Sekiboobo Elijah Bogere Mulembye, former mukono North MP Hon Johnson Muyanja Senyonga among others.
